A constantly evolving show
Cygnes des Temps, a sound and light spectacular, retraces sixteen centuries of Péronne’s history, from its foundation around 400 AD on the Mont des Cygnes. Relive the epic saga of this Picardy town through the eyes of Pierre Mac Orlan, a local native and witness to the Great War.
Driven by the passion of hundreds of volunteers, this historical show has been evolving since 2019 to offer an ever more captivating experience.
Period costumes, spectacular sets, and meticulously crafted choreography: every scene reflects an authentic collective commitment to local heritage.

Loïse Martens: Artistic Director
Since 2025, the show’s artistic direction has been entrusted to Loïse Martens, a professional passionate about large-scale historical epics.
Having grown up behind the scenes and drawing on major productions such as Le Souffle de la Terre or Juliette et les Misérables, she brings a unique artistic dimension to “Cygnes des Temps.” Her expert eye orchestrates hundreds of volunteers to transform Péronne’s history into an unforgettable moment of shared emotion.
